Can you believe we are so close to having that much dreamed of WHITE CHRISTMAS? It has made a truly fairytale winter wonderland around Stepping Stones Garden and the Skagit Valley. We had a roaring fire just after planting our new rose and wildflower garden yesterday, which only added to the excitement of the holiday season. Burlington, Mount Vernon, Anacortes have the glow from the colorful lights and we have the peace of the tranquil country setting with the snow geese and Trumpeter swans with the mountains as a backdrop.

A garden venue at this time of year may not be totally inviting but we have been preparing our barn for winter events including more intimate weddings. Our plans are to be up and celebrating with a beautiful Christmas tree in the background for 2016/17.

Whether you have candles or Santa in your homes, we are hoping that all of you will be finding the peace and joy with your loved ones, family and friends during this season and all year long. We’re ringing our bells in hopes of having Santa drop bags full of snow….
