Snow, snow, snow…beautiful snow, making Stepping Stones Garden look like a true winter wonderland. Quite different from our French country garden venue that is seen during the summer months! This down time has allowed me to light a roaring fire, sip away at my coffee and drift into thoughts about the fun new additions we want to embark upon at the venue this coming year. It’s not that the gardens aren’t wonderful, it’s just that adding something new keeps the create juices flowing.

As I look out the window, I realize how nature really provides the most perfect color pallets that can easily be incorporated into wedding color schemes. The white with the pink sunrises and grey beige silhouettes of the tree branches. Or the white, the sky blue and a slight hint of dark green from the camellia leaves. And how about white on white dotted with the few red berries that the birds haven’t grabbed yet.
